I love how John lays out the first part of this passage by saying that whomever doesn't believe in the Testimony of the blood, water, and Spirit is calling our God a liar because we don't believe in God's testimony through Christ. He then goes on to say what God's testified. This brings me to the main point and what John said "Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God's Son does not have life." This is really simple for Christians and anyone that thinks that there is another way to our Father other than through Christ. God didn't say the way to me is through giving to other people and just being an all around good guy. Did he? NO, though those are good things he says my Son, Chist our savior, is the only way to have life. Thank you God for your grace and love by giving us your son.

ReplyDeleteChrist came as a man to cleanse and redeem humanity. He not only came in divinity, but also in flesh. He humbled himself and brought redemption to humanity. If you'll humble yourself and embrace his sacrifice, you have eternal life. But he did too much for us too deny him and get away with it.
