"Well said, teacher," the man replied. "You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him. To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices." Mark 12:32-33
I don't really have much to say.. But here's this: Although the world will often go against us, we must fight through it. When I read these verses, it reminded me of the song "Praise you in this storm", because we must keep loving and keep praising even though everyone around us might despise our righteousness. And through all of our troubles we must not forget how great God is.
ReplyDeleteTo me these verses are just a reminder of how important it is to love. Why would we want to hate our brothers & sisters in Christ. We are supposed to work together because of our love in Jesus Christ. If we, Christians, "hate" each other, how can we work together? Why do Christian brothers & sisters search for a reason to hate one another? We need to realize what is most important & forget the rest & love with all of our hearts. We would have NOTHING without the sacrifce Jesus made for us.
