It brings me to joy to read "God is love, & all who live in love live in God, & God lives in them. & as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. . . such love has no fear. . ."
ReplyDeleteHe is love. He is in me. Love is in me. I am in Him.
"If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God." Obviously Jesus is essential to our relationship with God. In our world where so many try to reach God in so many different ways, John says real plainly that believing on Jesus is the way.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to know that "perfect love drives out fear." When we know how much God truly loves us, we no longer fear judgment. God's love, through Christ, brings us peace and forgiveness that we can live in.
