"Well said, teacher," the man replied. "You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him. To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices." Mark 12:32-33
"Christ in you, the hope of glory." Paul's goal in all his struggling and suffering is to "proclaim Christ." He knows that Christ in us will redeem and perfect us. Paul, suffers, encourages, and teaches everyone, so that when we stand before God we may be "perfect in Christ." Accepting Christ into your heart is only the beginning. Christ in us perfects and redeems us. He makes our lives new and abundant. So, are we letting Christ in us make us perfect? Or are we holding on to our old lives?
