Not being able to see God can make it hard to be faithful to Him. But our belief and trust in God is as sure as the joy and hope we have in Him. It can be easy to underestimate how awesome our salvation is, and Peter reminds the believers that they are part of God's salvation plan that has been going on for ages. Our lives are full of hope, faith, beauty, and love because of our God. He teaches us to love one another. He teaches us to love our enemies. He makes us and His world beautiful.
