Monday's Passage: 1 Peter 1:17-25

Hey everybody! So I realize that the last few weeks I've been horribly inconsistent. I hope you'll forgive me and jump in as we read through 1 Peter. Here we go! Pray that God would speak, read the passage, think about what Peter is teaching, listen to God, and finally share what you're learning.

  1. A NEW LIFE THAT LASTS

Our forgiveness came with a serious cost. Christ died so we could have new eternal life. "So you must live in reverent fear of him," knowing that "he will judge or reward you according to what you do." Grace and forgiveness are not cheap, we have been given another chance to be with our loving God and to enjoy his kingdom. Don't waste this life in Christ on the filth of this world that Jesus died to save us from. Let's all take Peter's words to heart: "Now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart."
